ABOUT TROUBADOUR BLUE
From the first note, Troubadour Blue will break your heart and stitch it back together. Founding members, lead vocalists and primary songwriters, Daniel Kim Ethridge (guitar) and Brenna Wheeler (fiddle) join voices with Max Sadler (bass) to create unforgettable three-part harmonies that are rounded out by pickers Rico Wallenda (mandolin) and his brother, Jonny Therrien (dobro).
Their 2024 album, Shadow of a Doubt, debuted the Nashville-based band’s bittersweet ‘90s country melodies combined with throughlines of red-dirt storytelling, produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer/musician Tammy Rogers King. From tours with award-winning groups The Red Clay Strays and The SteelDrivers, to performing at numerous festivals across the country, to their 2026 residency at The Station Inn, Brenna’s lonesome fiddle and Daniel’s soulful grit have audiences standing by the end of the set.
In the summer of 2026, Troubadour Blue signed with Unlabeled Records, as the label’s flagship artist. Their first single, “Shaky Wagon” is slated for release in July and their next album, Tennessee Gothic is due October 2026. The band hits the road Fall of 2026 in support of music icon Wynonna Judd, armed with their commanding harmonies and toe-tapping riffs that breathe to life their sophomore album, featuring collaborators Jerry Douglas, Mickey Raphael, and The SteelDrivers.
