ABOUT TROUBADOUR BLUE
Troubadour Blue hits you like a shot of backwoods moonshine cut with pure Nashville gold. The band is carving its own path through the heart of American music, where dusty roads meet neon lights and heartbreak ballads collide with barn-burning jams.
Songwriters Daniel Kim Ethridge and Brenna Wheeler craft songs that crackle with raw honesty, their voices weaving together like tangled roots to tell stories of love, loss, and longing. These tales come alive through the musicianship of Jonny Therrien (dobro), Rico Wallenda (mandolin), Max Sadler (bass), and Wheeler’s signature lonesome fiddle.
Produced by Grammy-winner Tammy Rogers King, their debut release Shadow of a Doubt first established the band’s raw talent and restless spirit. Since then, Troubadour Blue has continued to evolve with standout releases including “Alabama Angel” (featuring Jerry Douglas), reimagined versions of “Hush” and “Drinkin’s Good,” and the Summer 2025 singles “Mountain Dew” and “Heathen,” which led to the full Fall 2025 release of their EP Heathen.
Most recently, the band has stepped into the holiday space with “Snow in the Holler,” an original Americana-driven track that kicks off their expanding seasonal catalog.
